Objective
Every job has a quota. Grab at least that much loot and walk back to the van to finish. If a guard's meter fills up, or you touch a laser, the alarm goes off. Every guard comes after you, and you have a short time to reach the van before the police arrive. Each job gives up to three stars: one for escaping, one for taking all the loot, one for never setting off the alarm.
Controls
- WASD or arrows: move. You run by default, and running is loud.
- Hold Shift: sneak. Slow, but silent.
- E: grab loot, hack terminals, pick locks, flip switches, hide in closets.
- Space: knock out a guard from behind.
- P or Esc: pause.
- Touch: stick on the left. SNEAK (toggle), KO and E on the right.
Tools & guards
- Guards: anything in their flashlight fills their meter. Half full, they come to check (?). Full means alarm (!).
- Noise: running makes rings, and any guard inside one comes to look.
- Takedowns: a knocked-out guard sleeps for 25 seconds. If another guard finds them, that guard gets suspicious.
- Cameras: they sweep back and forth. Hack the terminal by repeating an arrow code, and every camera shuts off.
- Lasers: some turn off with a wall switch, others blink on and off on a timer.
- Vaults: press E when the marker is in the green zone. A miss is loud.
Useful strategy
- Watch a guard's route once before you move. Most of them walk a loop.
- Lamps light you up, and you get spotted much faster in them. Stay in the dark.
- Knock out the guard next to the vault before you start picking the lock.
- If the alarm goes off, stop looting and run. Closets break their line of sight.
- The quota is the minimum. The "all loot" star wants everything, vault included.
